Join Us in Making a Difference

President’s Message

As Provincial President of the , it is my honour to welcome you to our new website and to another exciting year of service, fellowship, and community connection.

This year’s theme, “Volunteering is Rewarding,” reflects something many of us have experienced firsthand through our time as Elks members. Volunteering is about far more than giving our time. It is about building friendships, strengthening communities, creating opportunities for others, and being part of something larger than ourselves.

Across our Association, our members continue to step forward in remarkable ways — supporting local families, youth programs, seniors, hearing and speech initiatives, community events, and countless projects that make a meaningful difference every day. Whether it is through fundraising, organizing events, mentoring others, or simply lending a helping hand, our volunteers are the heart of this organization.

The rewards of volunteering are not always measured in dollars raised or hours served. Often, the greatest rewards are the connections we build, the lives we touch, and the sense of purpose and belonging that comes from working together toward a common goal.

As we move forward this year, I encourage all members to continue finding new ways to engage within their Lodges and communities. I also encourage those visiting our website to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how you can become involved. The Elks continue to evolve alongside the communities we serve, and there is a place for everyone willing to make a difference.

Thank you to every member, volunteer, family member, and supporter who helps carry our work forward. Your dedication matters, your efforts are appreciated, and together we continue to strengthen our Association for future generations.

On behalf of the Alberta Elks Association, welcome — and thank you for being part of the journey.
